Resus.com.au has become Australasia's Number 1 Emergency Education Website. The Multimedia, Free education website that features teaching videos, has become so popular that the server has had to be upgraded to deal with the demand for new videos.

Dr Peter Kas, founder and Chief Educator of the site said "We see in this site the future of teaching. Doctors and nurses want a multimedia approach to teaching. They want to watch a lecture, have it be brief and to the point and deliver what they need to learn. Further they want the information simple to find and they want it to be free. The information must also be viewable anywhere, not just a lecture theatre, but at a coffee shop or on the beach. Resus.com.au does all this. It was initially set up as a free education site following my teaching sessions overseas and then in rural Australia. At that time I thought that there had to be a better way to get the information out there. More importantly there had to be a way to encourage healthcare professions to view and learn it."

The site now offers 'state of the art' accredited workshops, that give healthcare staff the essential skills they need to resuscitate. They can be booked directly on the site for convenience and most are run at Soma health's Simulation Centre, but are also taken on the road.
