Dr Phillip Nguyen is a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory and Sleep Physician with extensive experience in managing a wide spectrum of common and complex respiratory and sleep conditions. He holds a particular clinical interest in the management of obstructive sleep apnoea, asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Dr Nguyen earned his medical degree from the University of New South Wales before embarking on specialist respiratory training across Gosford, Westmead and St Vincent’s Hospitals. He then completed further post-fellowship training in Sleep Medicine and Respiratory Failure at St George Hospital. Dr Nguyen currently works as a part-time Staff Specialist Respiratory Physician at Gosford Hospital.

He has been actively involved in clinical research throughout his career and has presented at national and international conferences, including TSANZ and CHEST. He is also passionate about medical education, having previously served as a Conjoint Lecturer with both UNSW and USYD
