Mandibular Advancement Splint (MAS)
A Mandibular Advancement Splint (MAS) is a custom-molded medical device worn in the mouth used to treat obstructive sleep apnoea and snoring.
Why you might need a mandibular advancement splint
Mandibular Advancement Splints (MAS) are sleep apnoea devices worn on your teeth during sleep. Sometimes called an ‘anti-snoring’ device, they are used to stop soft tissue from collapsing into your airways and disrupting your normal breathing.
Mandibular advancement splints are often effective when treating mild or moderate OSA and helps stop snoring.
