Obesity Hypoventilation Syndrome (OHS)

OHS is a breathing disorder that affects some obese people where poor breathing may result in too much carbon dioxide and too little oxygen flowing into the blood.

Most people with OHS often also have obstructive sleep apnoea, a condition characterised by snoring, brief episodes of apnoea during the night and excessive daytime sleepiness along with poor sleep.
